Novillars: 135 years of paper and still up to date
The GEMDOUBS Paper mill is located in the town of Novillars, 10 km northeast of the city of Besançon, on a total surface area of 13.6 hectares. It employs more than 70 people. The GEMDOUBS industrial process consists of producing recycled paper from used paper and cardboard. GEMDOUBS produces around 90,000 tonnes per year of PPO (Corrugated Paper), mainly intended for manufacturers of corrugated cardboard packaging for mass distribution, industrial packaging or e-commerce.
