Job Description

Under the supervision of the Mechanical Service Manager, the mechanic carries out the upkeep, maintenance, upgrading or mechanical renovation of materials, equipment, production installations, according to safety rules and production requirements (deadlines, quality. ..).

He or she works in close collaboration with manufacturing operators in order to inform, receive, ensure and transmit various technical information on the process to those concerned. He or she reports to the Maintenance Manager, who is kept informed of any possible maintenance problems. He or she reports and receives repair orders.

Required Skills

• Work in hot and humid environments

• Demonstrate constant vigilance to identify malfunctions

• Have workshop experience and an excellent technical level (mechanical, electrical,

electronics, automation, etc.)

• Use machine tools (lathe, milling machine, drill, etc.)

• Be able to integrate into a team

• Wear work clothing and personal protective equipment (noise, SCBA - device

respiratory insulator - for interventions in certain areas)

• Know and respect the instructions and safety rules (intervention on machines in

movement...)

• In-depth knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, notions of electronics and electricity

• Ability to read plans, diagrams

• Mastery of conventional tools: wrenches, drills, measuring devices

• Compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards

• Computer knowledge (CMMS and PLC programming software)

• Permanent adaptation to new technologies

The position offered requires significant experience and is generally accessible from level V training (CAP, BEP, CFPA, etc.) in the fields of industrial mechanics and sometimes from level IV training (vocational or technological baccalaureate). in the same areas. Progression in employment/profession is often achieved through the acquisition of professional experience and versatility within the company.
